One Vanderbilt, New York

A completion inspection of the curtain wall installation was conducted at One Vanderbilt to furnish an independent report that provides a detailed assessment covering all defects, observations, and recommendations for remedial works.  Comprising 8,743 curtain wall panels across roughly 753,500 square feet, this facade of the building predominantly consists of two main panel types. Vision panels, prevalent in standard office areas, feature expansive glass reaching heights of nearly 22 feet on executive levels. These are paired with ventilated spandrel panels adorned with terracotta tiles. The extruded terracotta tiles feature a distinct concave shape and finish that effectively reflects a majority of sunlight during the day, resulting in stunning reflections.

Museum of Fine Arts, Houston

The museum use an ingenious system of laminated, translucent glass tubes on the outside walls of the buildings that control the light coming in, while protecting the priceless classical art inside. The exterior of the building is almost completely wrapped in translucent glass (semicircular glass tubes) The tubes were affixed to the building's structure using glued structural fastening profiles located on the inside of the glass tubes. An inspection was conducted to assess the concealed fixing of both horizontal and vertical joints, and a comprehensive report was issued upon completion of the inspection.
